Collect and Display

My collection of clay thimbles is based on a collection that my Grandma started many years ago. She has around 100 of them but the collection I made consisted of just 20 pieces. To display them I used a needle and thread through each thimble from top to bottom and side to side so that once the clay was dry I was able to 'cross stitch' them together and display them on a large hoop. I decided to paint each one to look like a traditional metal thimble with just a slight variation on the last one. I wanted to use the hoop in to display them in a way that is related to sewing since I'm majoring in in Costume Design.
